I need your recommendations for Prestige Classes

First Post
Hi. I have access to presitige classes from the following works:
1.DMG
2.forgotten Realms Campagin setting
3.Magic of Faerun
4.Sword and Fist
5.Tome and Blood
6. Song and silence
7. Masters of the Wild
8. and the wotc book on clerics and paladins whose name I forget.

Can anyone recommend any prestige classes for my players or recommend ones to avoid? Any non-evil alignment is allowed. Comments from people who have actually played a prestige class will be very appreciated.

Thanks

Can you narrow things down a bit? The race/class/level of your party might be a good place to start. Without that info, I may as well suggest the entire group take a level of "Halfling Outrider".

Well, they are currently 4th level. Race/Class is likely to change as many of their original characters will die in RttToEE. :)

I suppose more than anything i want a list of PRC's to avoid.

Avoid the Forsaker... Halfling Outrider...

The Bladesinger is a good one though, The Contemplative, The Fleetrunner... Shadowdancer, Incantatrix...

The Archmage is, IMO, the best presteige class ever. Of course, I'm a fan of mages so I am more than a bit biased. Nearly everything from Tome & Blood is good, too. The Dragon Disciple might be a bit weak, though, depending on which Sage ruling you believe.

My duelist is almost untouchable... I recommend the PrC highly.
duelist monk if almost untouchable- his touch AC is the same as his regular (with int, dex and wis bonus to Ac)

and his saves are amazing also- but his attacks lack luster- but nothing magic weapons cant fix...

Fun/Good PrC's

Elemental Savant
Incantrix
Duelist
Shadowdancer ( I was untouchable playing one, tremendously fun)
Sacred Exorcist
Divine Oracle
Deepwood Sniper
Tempest
Dungeon Delver
Archmage
Shadow Adept
Halfling Outrider (In the temple he could kick serious booty on a war dog, Just go Paladin until you qualify)

Well where's the fun in that! :D

The Heirophant class is awsome. I played a Cleric of Velsharoon who was big on touch spells. One level of Heirophant he took Divine Reach, and laid waste to baddies!
