Message: <blockquote data-quote="Goobermunch" data-source="post: 1714760" data-attributes="member: 10516">I'm not sure what your DM has in mind, but I have an RP suggestion.You've done the right thing, for the right reason, and you've had to give up your quest for sainthood in the process.  The easy answer for the character is to also give up his faith as well.  How's this for an even better sacrifice: keep the faith in your god in spite of the apparent betrayal.  A sacrifice doesn't mean anything if there's no cost, and turning away from your god is simple.  The hard part is confronting an unexplained tragedy with grace and trusting in "the will of god."Under this rubric, your great personal sacrifice is your sense of betrayal (literally, you give up the feelings of betrayal) and the "loss" of your sainthood.  Ironically, that's the kind of thing might well qualify you for the template.--G</blockquote>
