Thus far, I have seen no Fluff that gets away from the heart of D&amp;D. We still have classes, with the Fighter/Rogue/Wizard/Cleric, and they will be going into dungeons to kill stuff. Mechanics wise, we can argue whether downgrading Vanican magic do Will/Encounter/Day is &quot;Less D&amp;D&quot; or not, but I have yet to see much Fluff that says &quot;This is not the same game&quot;. Ultimately WotC has to make a decision as to &quot;What&quot; 4e D&amp;D is going to be, and go with that. Either way they're going to anger people.
