Message: <blockquote data-quote="Baron Von Mandrick" data-source="post: 5565085" data-attributes="member: 3269">I wouldn't worry about the creepiness.My first reaction would be to join in order to be supportive.  There are often fewer female gamers and supporting one at an early stage of game development could be great.  The fact that it is a young gamer is also great, because I would feel like passing the rpg torch on to the next generation would be awesome.  I want the games to live on!My second reaction would be, no way am I committing the time to a game where I'm an old man with a bunch of young kids, and will feel like an outsider, and probably not enjoy the game as much as I might a different game.  I would wonder if I would be able to submit totally to the will of a less experienced teen DM.  But I actually never have problems with that so I'm sure I would, but it might feel strange.  Being older would they expect me to know more about the rules and game?  Would I inhibit their form or style?The third thought I would have is that I could try it once to be supportive and then back out if I didn't find it worth my time.  That being said I hate quitting, and would have a hard time backing out.  Usually once I commit to something I'm in.  But that's probably my own personal issue.</blockquote>
