Australia, land of inopportunity Good god Chris_Nightwing, if only I had your luck. After over 15 years of playing the games that seem to generally slip their way into our lives I have finally gotten myself published.....once. Since finally getting convinced to submit a module to be published by my group, I have tasted success, but it is a bitter sensation. You see, I live in Australia. Oh to Hob-nob with people at American conventions, to be able to play Polyhedron games at conventions, to gain access to the wide range of products that are not sent to the land Down Under....... Strangely enough after being published once, I'd give my right arm (though it may slow my typing speed) to give it another try. You however Mr Nightwing seem to live in the land of the lucky, to have your material requested by others and have the chances for publishing. Many of the goods that various publishers put out do not make it to where I live, and the wonders of ordering on the internet are not as easy where I live as it is in the cities. But enough of the sob story no-body wants to hear. Bottom line is like so: should anyone desire to prod my mind and stir through it like so much alphabet soup, then I welcome it! I have had time and experiance to design custom classes, spells and other tit-bits for games that I run, but most importantly I believe is this: My particular talent is not so much as to overwhelm people with new rules for the sole fact to prove my ability of creation (though such a skill is not one to shirk), but it is to create new and interesting plotlines with the possibility of creating such additional items to place within. Though I have managed to create new ideas for stories (such as the Children of the Golem prestege class for one), I believe that a tale is one to be told first, then the pretty new things to be added as a secondary necessity. Please people, I fully recognise the ability to create new ideas for the rules of the game, they are a necessity that keeps the game fresh, and one that I fully support. But apart from all this drivel, the nuts and bolts are: Aussie, person, looking for a chance to impress, has duck called norman, can spin d4s. If any of you lovely people know where or how I can get a chance to impress, I would appreciate any chance. Thanks peoples.
