Congrats on the offers, accept them and go with it. With the d20 system and license available it has made it easier for many to get published when it wasn't possible a few years ago. I am sure that many companies that have arrised in the last two years didn't expect to be publishing rpg materials right now. I have gone to many publisher's websites, looked at the submission guidelines, and so far none are looking for new campaign settings, which is the only thing I have been working on for the last three months. Like many others, I have never been published, and fear that I never will. My setting is suitable for d20 Modern, not DnD, but it is a combination of both. When reading submission guidelines, I always have a few questions that pop up, like: are these submissions supposed to be submitted under a certain format, or using a specific product? I have these because unlike most people, I don't have the funds nor resources to type up a really good and fancy document. I have Wordpad, Word and MSWorks do not work on my computer because my computer, for lack of better word, sucks. I don't have Acrobat, no money for it, so I can't do pdf. I am a one person team, with no one to really help or help proofread my work, and I don't know how well or professional sounding it would look. I can't draw. Beyond all that, I have a very creative mind, a desire to create, and a really kick-butt setting. Sorry if this is my way of explaining this under this thread, but as someone stated a few years ago, if you don't try, or if you don't ask, you will never know? It's better to try and fail then it is to not try at all and wonder for the rest of your life. I end with congratulations to the original poster to this thread, and if anyone picks up on your works, go with it and take it. Opportunities usually come only once in a lifetime, twice if your lucky, and three times if karma loves ya. :D
