There are some great works in previous editions. I love Greyhawk. But gaming is like any hobby, sport, technology, etc. The longer it exists, the more skilled and knowledgeable the creators and designers become.  I have nothing against previous edition designers, but I do think there is a certain reality in that this editions designers know more about gaming than others before them.Doesn't that excite you? Sure, not all new cars are as good as previous models. But let's face it, wouldn't you rather drive a new car than an old one? The old one has charm, no doubt. In fact, I'm a big fan of classic cars and intend to one day own a Ford GTHO Phase III. But given the choice as a practical car for every day driving, I'd take a brand new Ford Falcon base model over the classic.Anyway, let this thread fade into the oblivion of the second page if you must. I just felt the need to say I'm looking forward to the new edition and discovering all it entails.</blockquote>
