I have a slightly different take on the list and think the books should be purchased in this order. Scarred Lands GM screen Scarred Lands Campaign Setting Ghelspad Gazateer (These books are the ones you need most. Out of the three of them you can drop the Gazateer and not miss that much.) Divine and Defeated Relics and Rituals Creature Collection Revised(When it comes out) (This trio of books covers everything you really need for Scarred lands flavor) After this it really depends on your personal taste. I would figure out what type of game you want to run and where you want to run it. If there is a book out for your location I would definetly pick that up. If you aree going to have a lot of traveling in your game you should probably have wilderness and wastelands since it has extensive lists of encounter charts and ways to handle wilderness encounters. Secrets and Societies is wonderfull if you wnat to use any major organizations, and since at least one group is guaranteed to be in any given area it is a very solid buy. Finally if you want to use Psionics or are using a Magic heavy ggame R&RI2 should be considered essential. It covers Psionics in the Scarred Lands and has a lot of nifty rules and spells for magic in the Scarred Lands.
