I accidently posted this question in the d20 Modern area. When ED world first started there was this setting that was quite unique. It was set in the USA, after some type of change to the populace,ie people became elves, dwarves, etc. The people in California who were ruthless businessmen, became half orcs. There was magic and even a few Klingons! It was called 'Steel Kingdoms'? The art was all cg and quite mature. Does anyone know where it is? Thanks.

Other important question: Was this a Homebrew site on someone's web page? Was it a PDF product? or was it a published product?

You aren't thinking of "Iron Kingdoms" are you? Doens't sound like the setting for Iron Kingdoms.

It was a homebrewed world. I think it came out before the PHB 3.0 came out. It was one of the early home brews seen on EN.
A world before PHB 3.0 came out. Which rules used that game? AD&D?

In Shadowrun many people changed into fantasy races (orcs, dwarves, trolls, elves), but in the original game no Klingons existed.

There was a homebrew site out there once based on the filksong "Serious Steel" by Leslie Fish and Joe Bethancourt. It sounds kind of like what you're describing.

Ah...here it is. I almost missed it, it looks like they changed servers/names since I last visited.

Yes that is it. Serious Steel. In answer to the previous question of what system they used, it was d20 3.0. I think they used the information that was posted on the internet to convert or create the world. Thanks again!
