Not finding Mudsmuck the Ogress in the pile of ogres (he was sure that he'd recognize her face), Kahru turned into a hawk, and he flew over the steading, with a few soldiers pointing and gasping at him as he went, impressed by his magic. He dropped through the enormous smoke-hole that was over the Great Hall's large firepit. As he had expected the giants had the room in full lock-down. They'd moved all of the crates, barrels, and much else, to each of the three exits - east, west, and most notably south. There were three full-sized hill giants, one youth (who Kahru recognized as one of the only survivors of the Chief's children) and one of the weaker, serving-class hill giants. Three things stood out to him all at once: 1) Mudsmuck was there, personally guarding the giant youth. She stood by his side with a rusty axe on her back, wearing the furs of the great mamoths that roamed the tundra near his homeland. 2) The stone giants that the group had, just yesterday, negotiated with (their names were Laerthar and his assistant Utharn) were both chained to the two largest of the hall's support-pillars. Presumably considered traitors for their association. And 3) One of the hill giants was looking up, scanning the rafters for just his sort of trouble, and holding a large rock. He'd not been spotted yet, but he needed a place to hide. [ooc]@Tonguez, there are plenty of places to land behind cover, but you'd need to make a dc12 Stealth check in your Hawk form or the giant will throw the rock at you.[/ooc]

[ooc]Edited to add a map. It's not easy to make out Kahru, as a Hawk, but he's behind Utharn (Stone Giant 2) though, really, he's in the rafters above...[/ooc]
