[QUOTE="doghead, post: 2908338, member: 8243"] --- THE BIG HOUSE --- -- Round 2 -- - Alpha - Arthur switches his target to the two zombies beyond Sgt Goss, who is yelling at the two figures in front of him to get down on the ground. They ignore the shouted orders. The house is filled with light and noise as the two rifles roar almost simultaneously. One of the things jerks slightly, but continues its shambling advance on the Sgt. Out of the corner of his eye Arthur watches as Lovel collapses to the floor under the loving attention of his attacker. - Bravo - Bravo follows Martin across the village square and into the big house on the opposite side. Strathmore, West and Robson crowd in behind the Lt. inside. They find themselves in an open foyer area, the smell of cordite hangs heavy on the air. The furnishings and carpets suggest some wealth, but it is gloomy inside. Drapes have been pulled on a number of the windows. The main source of light is though the open door. Pvt. Rutherford is there. Carbine at his shoulder, he is busy working the bolt action of his rifle. His attention is focused on a wooden panel door to the right of the entrance. The room is in darkness, heavy drapes pullled across all of the windows. Through the door, beyond Pvt. Rutherford, Lt. Martin sees Lovel on the ground. An young well dressed gentleman is crouched over the Marine, head down as if whispering something, or checking for life. Further in the room the Lt. spots the dark but unmistakable outline of Sgt. Goss. Two shambling figures, a woman and another man perhaps (its hard to see in the darkness) close on the Sgt. as Martin watches. They close on the Sgt, hacking and slashing at him with open hands.
