[QUOTE="Aethmud, post: 9087437, member: 6746292"] Jack edges along the wall, hugging the cool shadows close to his form. His luminescent wings dim to the faintest of shimmers, the glow softening even further until it seems nothing more than a trick of the light. His movements are purposeful yet silent, as the trace of Aric's enchantment wraps the party in a blanket of near-silence. The tinkle of his icy wings are muffled and barely audible as he approaches the spot perfect for his magic. Waiting for an opportune moment, when he can target the yeti child for a sleeping spell while avoiding the rolling halfling, Jack then starts casting a spell. First, he draws forth a small vial containing grains of crystalline fairy dust, frosted over and shimmering in the faint glow of his wings. He whispers an arcane incantation, his voice barely audible over the husky breathing and the yeti child's giggling. Each syllable of the fae chant corresponds to a subtle movement of Jack's hands, creating a mesmerizing dance in the frigid air. After speaking the magic words, Jack gently blows across the top of the vial, sending a swirling gust of icy fairy dust into the air across the cavern toward the yeti child. The particles drift with a soothing rhythm and drop in an ethereal snowfall over the young snow beast in the stillness of the cave. As the dust settles, each particle exudes a soothing chill that penetrates deep into the body, nudging the yeti into a state of drowsiness. Gradually, its eyes grow heavy and its movements slow, as the calming effect of the fairy dust takes hold. Its body relaxes, each huff of breath growing deeper and slower.
