Success (with or without advantage)
Jack delicately works some sleight of hand, fingers dancing across the hitches, not quite unhitching the ropes, but loosening them just enough as he continues with his verbal dazzle. "Now friends, I do declare -- sled dogs are like knots in a fey merchant's beard! They may look tidy from afar, but it takes patience and love to untangle their true potential." Jack grins, adjusting a strap ever so slightly. "Some say the real measure of a dog team is their drive. But I say it's how tight their loyalties are to the sled... figuratively, of course!" Jack flutters over to the edge of a nearby copse of trees, throwing his arms wide, the wind catching his shimmering wings in a dramatic flourish. "Now, esteemed spectators and icy caravaneurs, allow me to demonstrate the iron-willed discipline of Snowfang's Flank Force Formation! This here is the true alpha pack! Watch closely, no barking, no bolting, no breaking rank! Wimbley has trained this alpha pup to keep the ranks steady, no matter what." Standing next to the trees, some 10 or 15 feet away from the nearest dogs, Jack twists his wrist and spins his fingers to cast Minor Illusion to conjure a plump, limpid white arctic hare, which lolls about in an unnaturally smug posture. It reaches its head behind a tree and emerges proudly clutching a sizzling, perfectly seared steak in its twitching jaws. Jack flourishes a second hand and uses Prestidigitation to add some savory sizzle and aroma of roasted meat that drifts through the air. Jack gestures to the phantom hare as it begins to hop just near the tree line. "That hare, my frosty friends, has violated every natural law. It has meat. It has attitude.
