Alhana & Sesto vs Croczilla & Lizardfolk Alhana let loose a volley of arrows from her position among the rocks of a muddy hill across the water from the enormous crocodile. Her first arrow struck the War-Chief, and the large lizardfolk staggered from the blow. Then, the arrow exploded, sending splinters that killed two of the other lizardfolk aboard the houdah. Unfortunately, Eko the owl was struck as well, and disappeared in a burst of light. As was Lorenn, though he ducked the sliver that would have taken his eye, and was only scratched across the cheek. The Lizardfolk Warchief stood up, defiantly - but Alhana's third arrow (her second had struck a part of the houdah's protective wall) plunged deep into his chest, killing him instantly. Finally, her last arrow struck another lizardfolk in the shoulder, but it did not deter the creature from lunging at Lorenn. Again and again, Lorenn danced out of the way of the lizardfolk's aggressive attacks. A few of the remaining Lizardfolk must have decided that they did not like being struck with spell after spell, and they leapt free of the houdah and swam away from the crocodile - not retreating, but circling around to come at the spellcasters from underwater. Sitting comfortably in his kayak, Loklaft fired a few arrows at the Crocodile. One bounced off its thick hide, but the other stuck. Sesto produced a deep sound like an old gong, but the crocodile seemed not to notice. Then suddenly, the crocodile thrashed its head back and forth, and it swallowed Kalorn whole. [GM]Yup.
