Everyone The enormous Crocodile was mortally wounded by the explosion that occurred in its throat as Kalorn teleported free. It thrashed about, in terrible pain, but was put out of its misery by Alhana's arrows and Sesto's mace. Finally, it stopped thrashing as Lorenn ran his sword along its side, opening it up. Primus melted the mind of the swimming lizardfolk with ease, and the last of them fell to the Mordguard backed up by Mord's eldritch bolts. Soon, the Frostskimmr rounded the little island and came into view. Having fought a battle with Lizardfolk themselves, the crew of the Longship raised their oars and cheered at the sight of the dead Crocodile and its mangled Houdah and slaughtered crew. Loklafd hailed his kin (a distant cousin) the captain in the Reghed tongue and the forty-strong crew of the Longship welcomed the newcomers aboard, lashing the kayaks to the bows below the figurehead carving of a two-headed serpent. "What adventures we'll have, with folks such as you." announced Captain Lerustah Half-Face, his leather hood hiding the wound which gave him his name. He turned to his crew and yelled, "Make for the Sea of Swords! Pull!" The crew dipped their oars in unison and the Longship followed the largest waterway it could find, heading west toward the slowly setting sun. [ooc]End of Encounter, obviously. I was gonna work it out slowly, but it was just SO much damage![/ooc]
