Challenge Segment One Results The occupied raiding boat furiously worked it's way around the bend to the south. They were within long bow-shot of the city wall now, and they were under fire. Most of the arrows landed in the river, but a few struck the shield-wall on the sides of the boat. Janos' boat was heading for the city docks, and was not being fired upon. The raiding boat that was chasing was also taking ineffective fire. There were enough goblins aboard to hold shields over the heads of the occupants, creating a turtle-shell. The most well-fired arrows from the walls stuck into these shields. Occasional arrow-fire came from the goblins only to strike Enseth's shield-wall. Bruno, the old-man at the tiller, said "We can follow Janos, but we might get killed before they figure out we're not goblins! The south bank has a little channel that will take us behind some rocks and further from the walls. It's shallow, though, and we might hit ground. Maybe they'll follow us and get stuck. Which way should I steer?" [GM]Challenge Segment Two choice: Go for the city and try to identify yourselves so you don't get shot, OR go for the south bank and try not to ground. You can try to trick the chasing boat to follow you instead of Janos and ground itself. Feel free to discuss in character or in OOC thread. Or both.[/GM]
