Location: Old Dwarf Road Switchback Encounter: Orcs Angis rushed the lead orc, who slammed into the dwarf, driving him back. Drui hummed a little tune as he came up beside Angis, and to the dwarf it reminded him of the heroism of the tales of his ancestors and it warmed his aching heart. He resolved to destroy these terrible creatures and protect his friends. It would have killed the orc outright, but the brute twisted at the last second and cut Titus across his bicep with its own sword - a fiendish-looking scimitar that was one of a pair (the other in the orc's other hand, fending off Morwin). Hiding in some bushes, Snake cast a spell - a puff similar to fairy dust, which wafted over the front of the cart. Two of the three orcs caught in it yawned and shook their heads to clear them, but the third sat down in the middle of the old road and lay his head to one side, fast asleep. Snake scampered down the road to take cover near some rocks. Tommi slung a stone which cracked into the side of the head of the orc who had lifted the tarp off of Enseth and Drui. The orc spun around to see who had struck him, and Tommi squeezed himself between two large rocks, climbing up to where he could see over the road.
