Titus got himself a freshly trained young warhorse and outfitted it with leather barding. From the same breeder he bought a pair of draft horses who had been raised together and trained as a team. The following day, the Doughty Daggerfordians left Enfield in style, with Lionel driving the war wagon. He'd never handled so large a wagon, but he'd driven his family's milk wagon, and this was little different.
