[QUOTE="gargoyleking, post: 7859490, member: 6865745"] Dandin stood as he was introduced at the dinner. He'd done a good job at not snoozing during his holyness's speech and hadn't seemed too annoyed at being used in such a manner. In truth, Dandin had a reason for wanting this opportunity to speak himself. Several of Daggerford's most elite had been invited to the dinner and Dandin wanted to stir things up for the Dukedom. Now was his chance to get that started. He'd even broken one of his rules this time around. He was very careful normally to never use his magic to influence the good people of Daggerford. Even this, felt a bit on the underhanded side, though all he was doing was enhancing his own ability to be influential. In fact, he knew it was a common tactic used by everyone from wealth businessmen to kings. It just made him feel a bit... Dirty. Once, right before arriving at the event and then a bit later as he'd excused himself to use the restroom he'd cast his spell, using it to make a good impression on the attendees and now, to influence them. [Color=green]"Thank you, your holiness, for inviting me to dine with you tonight, and thank you all for your kind and encouraging words.
