The wide door that was the entrance to the room shrunk quickly and the door frame threw Escella and Talynen to the ground, while Viarar shuffled sideways to stay within its arch.Then the Red Wizard took an amber rod from his robes and slid it along a piece of rough felt. There was a spark, and then a flash as a bolt of lightning shot through Angis, Viarar, and slammed into the wall above Escella, showering her with sparks and little side-bolts as she was trying to regain her feet.The two orc bodyguards moved to protect the Red Wizard from attackers, should any have survived.[ooc]Here's where things get rough: Shalendra does 11 (5 from uncanny dodge?) to Tommi; Red Wizard does 21 lightning to Angis, Vairar, and Escella (dc14 Dex save for "only" 10 damage).
