Kennewick looks up from his book in small surprise. Glancing in Mischa's direction, he smiles and pulls his spectacles off and takes Kaufman's hand. With a slight stutter and a noticable gnomish accent, he greets the goblin cordially, "Well, I- uh, thank you - I mean, hello. Welcome. Welcome everyone." The gnome puts his things away and pulls a stool up for Kaufman, "Sit, sit. It's been a while since I've spoken with a learned goblin such as yourself." Upon finishing his survey of his little brother's hand, Nolan shakes his head and flicks Kelly's earlobe. As the youngest Blackwater leans back against the chair with an angry look on his face, Nolan nods in the direction of the two large folk: Marec, the scarred elven tough sitting against the wall; and a silent and unnamed dwarf still standing in the doorway. "There's no need for such enmity this early in the game, don't you think?" Nolan stood and revealed his hand to his brother, who grunted in annoyance and slammed his cards onto the table. "Every time!" Kelly said loudly. Nolan chuckled and pulled out two chairs from under the table and gestured for Marec and the dwarf to "take a load off, it's going to be a long trip." Tweek walks over to Mongrés and greets him respectfully in goblin. Afterwards, he starts back up in the Imperial Tongue and says with a smirk, "I don't suppose you want to help me clean out dem bloody Blackwatah boys do yah?" Nolan sits up straight, suddenly interested. With an incensed smile, he turns and replies, "Bring it on, Tweek, you still owe me for the trip from Taebrook!" Meanwhile, with her eyes beaming, Haley happily steps toward Tobius and another halfling, yet unnamed. She takes them both by the hand and pulls them over to a pile of small wooden boxes situated around one of the larger ones. "It's been so long since I've talked with somebody new, you simply must sit and talk with me." Through it all, it seems that Mischa and Moira are watching contently in silence. They sit on a bunk and hold hands silently, watching the outside corridor fill with so many people carrying their belongings to wherever it is that they're going to stay on board. They're certainly comfortable with each other, but it seems like something's holding the two of them back from being more ... intimate -- perhaps to your benefit, depending on who you are, ;) - - - - - OOC: I'm figuring that I'm going to be using straight quotes for the two most common languages in this campaign Imperial Common and Halfling. I'm going to try to use angle brackets, <<like this,>> for other languages, and barring that I'll start to use more text descriptors.
