[OOC]On the way [/OOC] Marius asked Shayuri to identify his sword, the one taken from the snake knight. It is too light for its size, black and slick, but not evil, as far as any of the group can sense. He asked Klutha about Dram, about Hagadark and their involvement. Not that he expected much, but whatever he hears may help. [OOC]In Drams fort[/OOC] Marius steps forward, resplendent in his temple regalia. But unused to niceties of the polite society and awkward in the spotlight. Shadows are much more his thing. He bows in front of Dram, formal recognition of his host. "Thank you for your grand hospitality, and thank you for sending your warriors to aid us. They were just in time to help in an unpleasant battle with one of the slaves of the dagger." Collecting his thought for a moment he continues: "As we understood the task, it was to find The Tideruler. But The Enslaver is the key to it. That much we know. And you should were supposed to provide the details, as we agreed with Grontar. There was no mention of additional cost or use. Maybe naively, but I believed you wish to save Maran and live in peace, not fight the snakes for the foreseeable future. We'll gladly let you examine it. But using it is not wise, no matter your precautions. We fought a creature much older than any of us that was desperate to get it because its soul was enslaved. Especially in the light of what we learned on the way." Marius pauses and thinks for a moment. "How about this. We show the dagger to you as proof we have it. You can examine it at your leisure. With some of us present of course, no offence meant, but until we agree on the use of it, it would be prudent we hold on to it.
