Round 1 Armides takes a step back and quickly draws, nocks and fires an arrow at the monstrous toad. He nocks and draws so quickly that he doesn't get the arrow placed properly and the shot is wild. The arrow bounces off rocks and skitters between his comrades, luckily missing them all. He snarls a curse but is already reaching for another arrow. "Bastard's luck! Silhouette, step back!" Silhouette is taken utterly by surprise, and very badly battered! With no hope of escaping by force of strength, she tries instead to fashion a spell...without inviting another attack that could end her! Electricity builds around her, snapping and snarling, and then bursting out over the toad and herself alike! The toad doesn't seem to get the full force of the shock. Cass stumbles forward toward the loud sounds of squelching moor, closer to Dear Silhouette. His one good eye goes wide with disbelief. "What in the nine he--." Alarmed, Cass steps back a foot or two away from the behemoth frog and unwittingly unhinges his lower jaw. The day's series of frustration forces pent-up air to rush out of Cass's lungs, flames curling and licking through the air toward the toad. Now totally beside himself with fear, Cass snaps shut his jaw and falls prone. Cursed, I am. Cursed. Death, damnation, BRIMSTONE. The toad is able, once again, to minimize the damage. The giant toad attempts to swallow Silhouette. The tiefling woman disappears inside the giant toad. Grumblejack swings at the giant toad and manages to punch the large amphibian right in then face. The ogre connects with an audible crack. He wipes at his hand as if he got something on it but seems to be OK. Niles looks behind him to check on Cass when he notices some ripples in the marsh. He figures it is swamp gas as he looks further back and sees more swamp gas bubbles. However, he is wrong and does not know it until after the giant toads jump out of the water. Niles moves a bit and opens his hand and a jet of flame shoots out for 30 feet and hits the toad. Once again the toad is able to minimize the damage. Lord Nelleon was too stunned to react at first, but when Silhouette was gulped down he sprang into action with light mace in hand. "This is just our luck. Hold on girl!" The man yells gruffly as he attempts to brain the beast. The mace strikes true further injuring the giant toad.
