I have an idea for a dnd villain and would like to hear what you guys think of it.
Hro'Thall was once an aboleth who was banished from aboleth society for his research on the gods. During his exile, he created a powerful cult dedicated to making him a god. He eventually created a ritual that would allow him to steal power from the gods themselves. However, when he cast the ritual, he was not transformed into a god, but into an elder evil instead. Eventually a powerful cleric sealed him away.
Now his minions seek to free Hro'Thall so he can take over the world.
