Hello all, I just got into D&D recently and I have ideas for a new class. I am not sure where to post it, but was wondering if I could reserve a post here and add to it whenever I get a chance to write more ideas for it. Feedback is appreciated too!!! Move to right place if needed! Here is what I have so far: Spell-Infusionist Role: Primary- Striker, Secondary-Controller Stats: Int, Wis, and Char Power Source: Arcane (maybe Elemental and Abyss since the new book is coming out lol) Armor Proficiencies: Cloth Weapon Proficiencies: Simple melee, Magic Focus Hit Points at First Level: 12+Con Score Hit Points Gained per Level: 5 Healing Surges per Day: 7+Con Modifier Trained Skills: Arcane. Choose four more: Acrobatics, Athletics, Dungeoneering, Endurance, History, Insight, Nature, Perception, Religion. Build Options: Raging Fists, Spell Fury Class Features: Magic Forms, Magic-Fused Combatant, Ritual Casting, Unarmored Combat. Bonus to Defenses: +1 Reflex, +1 Fortitude, +1 Will Build Options Raging Fists- Charge, close, and melee attacks receive +1 damage on hit (paragon +3, epic +5 damage). The charge might be repetitive since it does a melee attack but thought I should throw it in there for now. Spell Fury- Area and ranged attacks receive +1 damage on hit (paragon +3, epic +5). Magic Forms You can only be in one form at a time and cannot switch into another from while you are in one. If you are stunned or unconscious, you revert from your form to your normal state. The form resistences do not stack with any other resistence. Also as an encounter power, you can release your form to do a blast 3 attack. You are dazed afterwards Black Night Form- Gain necrotic resistence equal to 1/2 your level. -Embrace the Night (Heroic Feat): Necrotic resistence is now equal to 5 + 1/2 level and while in this form, do extra damage equal to half your Int modifier. Blazing Inferno Form- Gain fire resistence equal to 1/2 your level. -Embrace the Flames (Heroic Feat): Fire resistence is now equal to 5 + 1/2 level and now your attacks leave behind ongoing fire damage equal to half your Int modifier. Frozen Tsunami Form- Gain cold resistence equal to 1/2 your level. -Embrace the Cold (Heroic Feat): Cold resistence is now equal to 5 + 1/2 level and you gain a bonus to saving throws against ongoing damage equal to half of your Int modifier. Unrelenting Storm Form- Gain lightning and thunder resistence equal to 1/2 your level. -Embrace the Storm (Heroic Feat): Lightning and Thunder resistence is now equal to 5 + 1/2 level and you gain a bonus to your speed equal to half your Int modifier. Spell-Fused Combatant- Same as monk but arcane instead of martial keyword Unarmored Combat- Gain +2 AC if you are not wearing heavy armor or a shield. Ritual Casting Explains itself pretty much. Not sure if it would start with any specific ones like the wizard does, prolly not. Magic Focus- You take a magic item and destroy it but add its magic ability to the tattoos all over your body and its effect stays into effect until you replace it with another one. Reason why is that the way the tattoos look like with change with each effect from magic items and forms to embody it. How does this sound?
