The Hangover Part III: The Coronation A Coronation has visiting dignataries and copious amounts of drink. Sure, you can do the burglary bit or the medieval festival of archery, melee and jousting + harpers and so forth. But something that would be REALLY cool? The Hangover: Pt III - The Coronation. Have the PCs get rip-roaring drunk and forget what happened (spell/poison effct). Include a visiting royal dignatary as part of the group that got hammered with the PCs and who also has a memory loss. Maybe the PCs are made responsible for him and he's missing. They have to get the missing prince to the Church in time for the Coronation or much embarassment and loss of face will result. Beause of the role-playing aspect and embarassment element of things, think of the FUN you could have by revealing during the investigation what stupid FRAT BOY events the Paladin did while under the influence, say. The adventure becomes a reconstruction of the prior evening's drunken events. You can go literally anywhere with that hook. By throwing in the ideas of a visiting royal dignatary who the PCs befriend and are responsible for, plus the resulting low-key and discrete (but very urgent) investigations over what happened during the evening and making this the PC's "fault", much hilarity could ensue. And you can build hooks into anything you want into the "black-out" irresponsible party theme. Wide open man.
