The PHB was published in June 2008 - after they threw the whole thing out in April 06. That's not even two years. And the full on playtesting started in June 2007. Not enough time - I'd say it needed at least another year.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Yup. You don't change it enough and people stick to the old books and you get no more sales.
