First I would actually Play test, polish and publish my own game system. I play it on and off for like a year then play D&D and go back to it. I like it and so far so have my players. As D&D Goes I want to produce my campaign I am currently running with its meta plot and write it in a conversational tone versus dryly putting forth information. I would write it explaining this is what happened in my game this is what could happen in your game. These are the motivations for the Bad guys and what resources they have and what their probably reactions are to the characters doing X. It would be designed for 1-20th and include side adventures and advice on creating running sub plots. It would include say 10 encounters when you might expect 5 so that the gm can modify it to their group with out doing lots of work. Its a small campaign world compared to say Greyhawk or FR but so far the players have not run out of places to go. As far as the meta plot goes it would be presented to players the way I did. I am running a big plot do you want to play along. Ie they aren't railroaded becuase they choose to go along with the plot. They aren't forced to but once they become invested they usually don't want to levae the Plot. I think it would be fun to write and play in. I would produce a series of small spell/prayer books focused on different characters who have developed their own spells. Say like a 16-20 page book costing 8-12 dollars that would have the NPC, their background/story and some spells they created. MAybe with magic items they developed. Could do the same with say a rogue but have thier organization and contacts and NPC's detailed. You could do the same with each class. I always like when Dragon magazine did similiar things just this expanded to include more info. Also maybe do some town/villages the same way. A small, inexpensive series made to drop into most worlds. If I made a campaign world then I could also do Campaign specific ones. Later
