Ignoring that and saying "really, the vast majority of the time it is the player's decisions that resulted in their character's death" shunts aside every other possible explanation.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>... You do realize the literal definition of blame is "to hold someone responsible for something negative" right? The death of a character is something negative, holding the player responsible for it is blame. That's just... how words work. </p><p></p><p>Now, maybe you don't see character death as a negative.
