Ignored poster quoted in another's post

I think this is the correct place to ask this. . .

I have someone on my ignore list. Unfortunately, others sometimes quote him in their own posts, with the [ quote = XXXX ] tag. (I hope the spacing keeps the tag from formatting.) Is there some way to block/ignore the quoted text? I expect unattributed quotes can't be ignored, but maybe "quote=" text can be.

Any feature to help, here?

Doubtful. You just need to ignore the quotes. That is what I do.

I think you have to "ignore" them the old fashioned way, without computer assistance.

Ignore's good, but not that good! Sometimes, as JoeBlank says, you have to do it the old fashioned way.

Well, if it's often the same people quoting your ignored user, you could ignore-list them as well.

Privately, some time, I'd like someone to show me who these posters worth ignoring are. I feel like I'm missing out. Where you see 'ignore,' I see a good show.
