They have faugh vicious wars with these races , but since the fights always take place in darkness and Arathan leave no survivors these battle are largely uncronicle by non-Arathan . They have taken little interest the affairs of the other humanoids until recently. Now they are venturing farther from their forest homes often inserting themselves in adventuring parties as a sneaky fighter or rouge , plus some wizards and atleast one Shaper. Apparently their mage dominated culture is suffering some upheaval and these adventuring Arathan want away from the mess. They use exotic spells/powers often of their own creation.</p><p></p><p>personality : Arathan are quite , but curious often shadowing an intersting person beast or thing for weeks. They are fascinated by others but at the same time a little distrustful</p><p></p><p>Phsycal description : They have four arms, and eyes the color of bone. They are thin and guant. Some are practically skeletal. Their knees bend backwards.</p><p></p><p>Relations : They see humans as the mother race of their own (which is accurate) so they treat humans with respect. Orcs are to loud and stupid for their tastes. Genasi and half-humans are seen as brother races since they all stem from human blood. Elves are intriuging, halfilings are kindred spirits, and dwarves are to be admired for their tenacity and courage. Gnomes are brilliant but a little weird to them, sure tech, magic, and jokes are fun but how can you have a culture based on those.</p><p></p><p>Alignment : Like humans alignment depends greatly upon the individual, but they tend away from law due to their theiving natures.</p><p></p><p>Lands : they live in deep dark forests and underground so they are hard to pinn to a specific region. Any dark forest or cave might hold an Arathan village.</p><p></p><p>Religion : they maintain no racial god, but any diety of luck , wealth , thievery or magic may be worshipped by a number of arathan.</p><p></p><p>Language: Mutan a strange mixture of hand signals chirps and clicks uses slyvan as its alphabet.
