I'm back ... what critical RPG news have I missed?

So I'm back from six months out of contact in Nogameistan ... what critical news have I missed on the RPG front?

Though since I see the "Dragon magazine: let's read the whole run" thread is still on the front page, I'm guessing: Not much. ;)

Nogameistan? That's south of Nopeecistan, right?

I think not much. Just the usual fun, back & forth discussions and interesting stories retold. ;) Maybe you missed the creation of the Pathfinder forum and some slow/timeout rich weeks or weekends. But there might be a reprise, just for you.

Morrus is a WotC shill and there's an ENWorld conspiracy to deny Pathfinder devotees their rightful forum by giving them their own forum.

So... pretty much business as usual :)

Well firstly, welcome back! :)
Always good to see some of the old guard coming back to the boards. [And what have you been up to?]

Secondly, the biggest RPG news in the last six months has most likely been the release of Pathfinder - if that's your cup of tea.

Thirdly, the DDI is really humming to the point where some people are just getting the subscription and not buying the physical books.

I suppose for people who enjoy RPGs, there are a lot of choices at the moment which is really cool. Anyway, good to see you posting again.

Best Regards

Thanks! :D Not gaming, due to conditions in Nogameistan, but hopefully linking back up with my group in a couple of weeks when I finally get settled back in, over jet lag, and past the few return weekends that my wife has already planned out for me.

So is a pro-or-anti-Pathfinder position required at this point, or is there a cooling-off time permitted to allow one time to make up one's mind?

No, sorry. You must make an immediate decision and declaration of which side you're on. We have to know who we like and who we don't like, after all, and having neutral parties just makes the whole thing so ... untidy.

I mean, this is the Internet, man! Go with your gut feelings! Post the first thing that pops into your mind, unfiltered! Hell, make a lolcat for it! And then look up naked pictures of starlets in a different window!
