I'm back from GCSC with a ton of stuff. (It felt that way as I was hauling it home.) A longer list of the swag is coming up, but it does include a copy of The Black Company (Green Ronin) and the deluxe edition of BESM d20 (prize) (Guardians of Order) Met folks, attended seminars, shmoozed, but played no games. I did a recon this year, next year I hope to get involved in an adventure or two. My roommates were good people. Might be rooming with them again. Depends on how things go. I don't know who Robert is on these boards, but if you ever find yourself over on the GenCon Forums keep an eye out for Renlittle and say "hi" when you find her. Fun lady, has a five year old. In quasi famous people I met Stan!, Sean Reynolds, Mike Stackpole, Steve Perrin, John Wick, Peter Adkison, Melissa Adkison, Jared Sorenson, and Luke Ski (song parodist and decent fellow. Renlittle spelled him at his booth because he looked all worn out and got all five of his cds for her kindness. Learned a lot, which I hope to apply to my work. And before I forget, my thanks to the companies who provided prizes etc. to Calistink 2004. Only 19 people showed up of the 40 who said they would, which meant people got more than they otherwise would have. (Along with the BESM d20 book I also got Stargate SG1, (AEG) and Shadows of the Last War, a deluxe character sheet packet, and Map Folio II (WotC), plus some Heroclix figures and a Mageknight figure. Those were donated to Toys for Tots because I don't play Heroclix or Mageknight and didn't want to have them lying around idle. I'll have bookreports on what I got posted over at d20 Magazine Rack when they're ready. So, how was your GCSC?
