Assassin (only good if you are actually going for the concept as you get the shaft on skill points)In general taking rogue PrC's hurt because of the loss of BAB which is important to the rogue' already reduced BAB.  If going for a melee fighting rogue always take at least one level of ranger and two levels of fighter are nice for the two feats.  (Usually combat reflexes and expert tactician (netted)).  If going for the missile fighting rogue, again, a few levels of fighter are nice for getting point blank shot and rapid shot.However, if going for a more versatile rogue, skill points are what is important and in general anything you take will have fewer skill points.  PrC's for rogues truly model the concept of PrC's in that you really have to give up something to get a more focused character.</blockquote>
