I loved Joe Schmoe for a number of reasons. First, it was a blatant riff on reality television, in almost every single way. I appreciated that a lot. Second, it was a total experiment - no one knew how this was going to end up. It was a crap shoot, and it worked. But third, and most of all, it showed the average guy as something that isn't bad to strive for - caring, nice, decent, laidback, loyal, and hot for Molly. I agree completely, though I think I use an "and" instead of an "or". As for the girls... I can completely believe in someone being that oblivious. Especially them being oblivious to the fact that their being made fun of on national television, and revealed to the insipied spoiled brats they really are. I almost have to feel sorry for them. (Warning, rant... please don't take personally... or do, I can't really stop you :)) What gets me though is that the combination of high-society, stupidity, and "voyeurism" (though as has been said, it's not real) gets lapped up by the public. It's almost viscious, in that I'm sure a big part of the appeal is knowing that you're better than these rich... women... in some aspect. Like they're being torn down. It makes me more than a little sad. Of all the reasons that these two should be put in this situation for real, and there are many, money is probably the worst.
