"I'm Spartacus!"

Can anyone recommend any "save the slaves" or "slave rebellion" adventures for me? Ideal would be 3e, but any edition can be converted. My computer crash robbed me of my .pdf of the good ol 1e "Slavelords" path, otherwise I'd use that. Shiny XP for those who provide links, reviews, testimonials or other reasons why their choice rocks.

Much thanks...

I really don't know of any! Makes me think there's definitely market room for a GSL "save the slaves" or "breakout" adventure for 4E, though... :)

Dark Sun had a 2e module called Freedom. I think it dealt with freeing slaves or the aftermath. I never owned it or played it so I'm just going on second hand talk about it.

I seem to remember Slaves of Fate being a 3e d20 module set in the Elric World where the PCs are captured and enslaved as well.

Slavers

A 128-page Greyhawk adventure centered around the Slavelords of the Pomarj. Basically a 2E continuation of A1-A4. It's late 2E (just a year or two before 3E) but should be pretty easy to convert (just change Thac0's to 3E AC, and copy/paste 3E MM monsters to replace the 2E monsters on the adventure, etc.).

Synopsis:

It has been a decade since the feared yellow sails of the Slavelords appeared in harbors of Wild Coast towns - ten years since friends, family, and loved ones were carried off in shackles to the inhuman lands of the Pomarj.

Turrosh Mak, a half-orc warlord, has unified the bickering humanoid tribes into a rapacious nation! With sword and flame, tooth and claw, he led his conquering horde north, till over half of the Wild Coast fell beneath his iron gauntlet.

Now the ships with the yellow sails have reappeared on the waters of the Woolly Bay. They have even reached the shores of the Nyr Dyv, the "lake of unknown depths," striking suddenly and carrying off every able-bodied survivor. And just as suddenly they vanish without a trace. The scourge of the Slavelords has returned.

This book features a new chapter in the Slavelords saga, and includes detailed descriptions of the cities and lands of the Flanaess, from the City of Dyvers to the dark peaks of the Drachensgrab Mountains deep in the Pomarj.

I remember rescuing slaves in a part of The Banewarrens but it was in only one of the plots and we specifically said after defeating a tough BBEG and knowing others were out there "Let's free all the slaves and get out of here." It was a fairly background element in the adventure as a whole.

Can someone give el mahdi some XP? I need to wait before doing so again and a 128 page module that I've never heard of definitely counts for XP. And Voadam?

Wow, thanks everyone. Three different people have hooked me up for this. Enough already! (Unless you absolutely feel compelled to.:D)

I haven't actually played or run Slavers, but it is one I still have on the bookshelf for "Someday". If you run it, let us all know how it worked and what you did for conversion (I run 3E also - houseruled - but still 3E).

rogue, I own this Slavers module and should be able to dig it out of a box in the office. You can borrow it for a while if you'd like. Remind me on Tuesday.
