A bunch of battered and bloodstained people come into town on a cart that's got a dead body and a pile of rotten meat in it. Flies follow in their wake. They havn't bathed in days, and they're carrying a disproportionate amount of weaponry. Meet my adventuring party. See, our fighter died during our first battle against a Bulette. After we managed to kill that battle, we wanted to see about a raise dead. But the Buelette's plates can be used to enchant our arms and armor. So we spend a few hours hacking at the body and take what we can. The nearest church that can help is is days away, so we wash up as best we can, camp, and leave at first light. Then we boldly stride into town, walk into the church, and go about the process of getting our fighter back on her feet. And then I realized the image. And then Jonevend (my character) began to feel very, very grimy. Oh, and very mercenary from snagging the fighter's purse to help pay for the raise dead. Now, as soon as our current emergency is taken care of, I'd like to start doing something about this. Seeing as I'm pretty new at wizardry, what spells beyond Prestidigitation and mending can be used in the persuit of general clenlieness, and possibly help out townspeople who don't need something blown up? I had to watch an Inn burn down, and it was telling that the big bad level 6 wizard couldn't do anything to help the town afterwards. I'd like to try and fix that. Our game is a hybrid 3 and 3.5 game, so I can use any 3.5 spell I get cleared by the DM. Thanks for the help.
