Immortal's Handbook hits #1 bestseller

Yep, in less than a week, Immortal's Handbook has jumped straight to number 1. This is an exceptional product release, and an exceptional product. Of course, it bumps my product (Campaign Suite Extended) out of the number 1 spot, and in fact it dropped to 3rd. (Under Elements of Magic - Mythic Earth which has gotten a boost from Wulf's latest release).

Anyway, I just wanted to say good job, and I hope you guys all enjoy it!

Thanks for the kind words, I'm actually quite shocked because the number of sales on ENWorld still has not eclipsed the number of pre-order sales I had from my website. So I guess that means its doing pretty darn good for a pdf, especially one that deals with a niche in the market like epic material.

If any publishers out there are interested in doing a print version, drop me a line.

I guess it can also be attributed to the fact that the ENGS is comparably new. You propably don't need to sell as much here yet as on other sites. But it is still quite a feat (or is it a class ability?)!

If there was enough interest, I could have him set up "Immortal's Handbook: Pre-Order" as a product with no download file. When the actual prodcut was out, then they could go to their bookshelf, and it would say "Updated!" instead of "Download" meaning it was ready for them to download - and thus, out.

Any thoughts on this?

I ran this by a couple of other publishers as a brainstorming idea, and I went ahead and put the system in to handle pre-order products. I'm not sure if UK wants to go with this, but it may be very cool. Publishers will find instructions for how to do it in the publisher forum, as well as the product editor. (Of course, noone has any preorder products up yet, but you can find them on their own page Here. (They'll also show up in other locations on the store, such as browsing, but with the "Preorder" notice.)
