Re: Hurm... Hi Kamikaze! :) Okay. Thanks. I wouldn't describe it as a campaign setting though. Its a rule book with a ton of options. I'm not going to include any specific pantheons. Initially I planned to include a chapter dedicated to Persian Mythology with all relevant information: customs; places of worship; gods; monsters; prestige classes; magic; artifacts etc. - specifically to show how I would detail a real world pantheon and to provide people with a wealth of campaign material. But that idea has been divorced from the main body of work. There are no real world pantheons within the Immortals Handbook. However, I have been in communication with people from WotC and Deities & Demigods will become part of the SRD and they have mentioned that they fully expect people to detail the Pantheons they won't be including in Deities & Demigods. So I may release the Persian Pantheon as a standalone product in the future. You know that Deities & Demigods will be heavily Pantheon based (at least half* the 224 pages will be devoted to Pantheons). It has Greyhawk; Greek and Norse Pantheons in it. *I would anticipate two-thirds. I agree. It was going to be a struggle fitting all the information I wanted to include about Persian Mythology into 48 pages. If I did it as a standalone product I would increase that to at least 64 pages. You seem to be slightly confused as to the nature of the Immortal Handbook. It does not detail real world pantheons. There is a pantheon chapter but it covers the subject generically rather than specifically - to facilitate campaigns creating their own pantheons. I had planned to include a Persian Mythology chapter as an example of real world cultures - but this has been divorced from the main body of work; though it may perhaps see the light of day in the near future itself!? For what its worth I also had a handful of other pantheons outlined to be detailed for a follow-up product, though I can't confirm anything on that at the moment. ;)
