Haste, Greater Transmutation Level: Brd 6, Sor/Wiz 8 [Bard and Sor get it at 16th, Wiz at 15th] Target: 1 creature This spell functions like Haste except that it gives a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. Additionally when using the standard attack action a hasted creature may make one extra attack with any weapon he is holding. If he makes a full attack action, he may make two extra attacks with any weapon he is holding, however the second attack is at -5. The attack(s) are made using the creature's full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation (except the second attack with a full attack action is at -5). As a full-round action a hasted spellcaster may choose to cast two spells (or a creature may use two spell-like abilities). Both spells must have a casting time of one standard action. Otherwise, this spell is as haste. I like this method because being hasted really allows you to perform a variety of things. A fighter can move 4x his speed as a double move or 4x his speed on a charge and make 2 attacks at the end of the charge. A fighter gets 2 bonus attacks as a full-attack action, which is also a huge boon since they are at almost the highest attack bonus. A spellcaster has less options because casting 2 spells takes all their actions except a 5 ft. step. It is still extremely powerful as once a spellcaster is in position, they don't need to move much. Also, the spell only affects 1 creature (as 3.0 haste). I was thinking of raising the bonuses to +4, but that might be too much (even if it does only affect 1 creature). Any suggestions for Slow, Greater? Technik
