In a dojo or not in a dojo - that is the question

Darkwolf

First Post
Creamsteak's Sanctus character was in Rini's dojo (a sub-school of mine) while yellow belt. He then got his green belt but has a win and a loss while not having his dojo style filled. Should those two fights be placed under my dojo record?

I'll take the initiative, that in my own opinion my win and loss should not be reported under Darkwolf. I reported wins and losses to my own dojo, but I was not linked to Darkwolf during this time.

At that time, I was not under anyone other than myself, and I should only report to my own dojo. I had no superior, as I was a wandering Green Belt.

My dojo, now that I am under Zappo, is linked to Darkwolf, so it is no-longer a concern. I report to Zappo, who reports to Darkwolf.

But, as said, when I don't have a dojo that is under Darkwolf, I shouldn't report to him.

Dunno myself, more character freedom for the two structures would be nice though.

Although, with that said, I believe that by the letter, that until Sanctus advances to Perfect Master, he is 'trapped' within the Dojo of the Predator Structure unless at Yellow Belt he refused to join a Dojo of the Predator dojo. Not something I like, but also the intent I got from a few monthes back when discussion started about 'graduated' members and the Overlord/Dojo Master powers.

Of course, I still kick people out of Team Rocket so whatever :). The win/lose pairing at least doesn't have a direct effect.

It seems to me that since Sanctus was not in your dojo nor any affiliated dojos at the time, that the win/loss should not be counted.

If a dojo student wishes to switch dojos or join a new dojo before advancing a new tier they must declare their intention to do so before the start of their next fight and revoke their knowledge of the old dojo style. If they win their next fight they may join as normal and adopt the new style.
