When all seems lost, you are gifted one final chance to set things right – what will you do with your Afterlife?</p><p></p><p>BRP Design Challenge winner J.D. Trotter says, <em>"It has been a long road to this day... During its development over the last year, it has went through some ups and downs and some major changes. It <a href="https://www.chaosium.com/blogshortlist-for-the-10000-brp-design-challenge-announced-vote-for-the-peoples-choice/" target="_blank">placed as a finalist</a> out of 190 entries in the 2024 Basic Roleplaying Design Challenge from Chaosium. It's undergone over 40 hours of playtesting across two short-form campaigns of deeply varying style and subject. It's had whole aspects of its system overhauled, rules remixed, stat blocks changed, images swapped and altered."</em></p><p></p><p>The PDF version of this book contains everything you need to play <em>In Death</em>, with over 240 pages of rules and lore, including:</p><p></p><ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Rules for creating recently deceased characters</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">A guide to the Afterlife campaign setting</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Over 50 unique powers and magicks</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Over 20 mythical relics reimagined for play</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Over 50 stat blocks for tortured spirits, ancient beings, infernal demons and divine entities</li> </ul><p>We congratulate J.D Trotter and Dimwood Studios on the release! </p><p></p><p><em>In Death</em> is available in PDF at <a href="https://dimwoodstudios.itch.io/in-death" target="_blank">Itch.io</a>, and in physical print at <a href="https://angrycherryshop.com/" target="_blank">Angry Cherry</a>.</p><p></p><p>The BRP Design Challenge was set up to financially assist new and upcoming creators in bringing their games to independent publication.
