Wow. Great questions and ideas. I'm getting more and more excited about 4E, and about this campaign in particular. I hope I'm not coming across as too totalitarian in my response to your concepts, but my vision for the setting is a bit limiting at this point. Maybe adding a bit more to the background will help. I'll see what I can work up. As for particular questions: Zurai--I had no concerns about Immeral's connection to town. Even just being a place that he comes to sell his furs would be enough for him to form some connections and feel some ownership of the town, which is really what I'm hoping for. There are a few other eladrin in town, some of whom are exiles from the fomorian court, while others have just decided to settle on this side of the veil for a while to learn about this other existence. I'm also hoping he won't be too resistant to making connections. I'm hoping to have the whole party mesh the way Talas, Cholas and Alexa did at the start of our Eyes game. reanu1g--I have intentionally not speculated on the stat generation process. I would much prefer that everyone wait on the crunchy bits until we have the books and can see all of the options. This goes for the powers as well. I'm betting that there are a number of things that haven't made it to the previews, and I don't want anyone to set their minds on one course with only half the options. Zweischneid--I like the changes, and I'm a huge fan of the half-elven warlord combo, just ask Graf, or check out he ePoL game he's running. :D I still need to check out the 4E PHB for some of the assumptions of 4E that you're referencing. I know that PCs are heroic, but I figured they started without experience, and therefore without much of a reputation or resume of heroic acts. My picture is of people with some untested training or natural ability in certain areas, as opposed to veteran warriors. Maybe that vision isn't quite accurate under the new paradigm. Either way, this new vision of Bheazir seems quite viable.
