We might play one because someone can’t make it, or life and work has meant the GM couldn’t prep in time for the current session, or we are having a short rest between campaigns.We don’t sweat it, roleplaying is fun, not work, so there is no pressure on the GM and we are happy to play other in-person games. And the volume and quality of board games at present is off the charts, so it’s also a really great thing to do together.I have a 4x4 Kallax full of board games in the gaming room here, and a couple of the other guys also have fairly sizeable collections so we have more games than we have time to play.
