Ok...before anyone asks...Motega did not do all those nifty tricks to defeat the dwem. There was no climbing of trees...no leaping off branches. That's all embellishment. But if the game mechanics could truly account for such feats, then he would've surely done them. At that point we (the players of the unconscious characters) were depressed and thought we were definitely dead. Destan had rolled in secret to see which character was brained by the dwem sergeant. So we knew one of us was definitely out. When Tobias fell (from a crit with an axe) he was already below -10. Quite a bit below it. Lucky for the others, Tobias got brained. So, Motega ran into the woods and debated leaving us. Out of good conscience he decided he'd rather die with us than outlive us. So he enacted some guerrilla tactics that worked marvelously. When the showdown with the sergeant occured though, he nearly died. It wasn't until he backed off that he realized he was carrying the haversack. He ALWAYS carries the haversack. And at that point all of our cure light potions were in there. So he survived. Healed those that could be healed. And we moved on :) Just thought you all would like a little insight. ~Tobias/Funeris
