Incorporeal Creatures With Treasure: None

Do all of these literally have no treasure? I get that certain monsters don't hoard gold, hence the "Treasure: None," but what about things like ghosts or sacred watchers, which have attack modes listing longswords? Am I to understand that they simply have ghostly copies and that the real item is irrecoverable?

I'd say that the wepons are "part" of the incorporal creature which dissappears apon its death.
Can't think of it ever being written down though. In Ghostly equipment, it notes that the ghost will stop at nothing to regain any items it holds dear that have been taken away, at least implying that they are still physically findable.

But it seems logical that victims of the ghosts etc would leave their stuff and bodies lying around, unless someone else manages to pinch the stuff beforehand (and I'd go with what advances the plot here).

The thing is, Treasure:None is always obnoxious when you try to advance NPCs/monsters and give them appropriate items so they don't completely suck. I think I will simply ignore that statement and give them loot as per level. If the party can figure out where the ghost's remains are, they get the stuff; if not, too bad.

If the Ghost is in a Desecrated area and has the Luck Domain and maybe even a Luck Blade it can make for quite a challenge! Especially since it is virtually assured to make its Rejuvenation check! :D

Having interesting treasure options on the Ghosts body can lead to a lot of fun, especially if the body proves to be very difficult to get. That could be an entire adventure by itself! :p
