Indianapolis bus schedules/routes?

anyone know anything about Indy's public transportation system? i'm going to be staying at a friend's place, but i don't want to have to be dependent on her for rides to the convention center if i want to go at a different time than she does.

Indy's public transit system is nearly non-existant. You can check out rates and routes at Indygo.net, however, I wouldn't recommend using the buses here. Rent a car or better yet take a taxi, then you won't have to pay for parking. Parking prices will be outrageous Saturday due to a home Colts game.
