[QUOTE="the Jester, post: 2093083, member: 1210"] The BattleBox is by Fiery Dragon Publishing. It's about $20 according to the box (though I got it as a gm's day present! :D Thanks, Brain!) I've had it maybe 3 weeks and am already certain it was worth the price paid- I've had multiple occasions to use it, and it has saved tons of time. If you join my Yahoo Group (Cydra) you can get a good idea of what's in mine in the Files section- though it's broken into many different files. :\ My "Players Guide to Cydra" is a spiral bound document with a clear vinyl front cover and a marroon vinyl back. Each section is printed on different colored paper. The way I've organized the sections, and a rough idea of what's in them, is as follows: 1. Cydra Overview- a map of the local region, notes on history both ancient and modern (ancient history goes back a cool million years to Solurnustice, the moment of the sun's ignition), notes on the various calendars in use, descriptions of the various nations, my "colorful critical hit" section. (The map is not yet scanned in and posted on the website.) 2. Races- notes on subraces of the standard (PH) races, as well as (mechanically) different subraces for halflings (wild halflings and Cydran tallfellows), a race of orcs suitable for use as pcs, and two entirely new pc races- the merellin (dolphin-were types) and tabaxi (catfolk). 3. Base Classes- two new base classes available in Cydra, the cannabix (like a druid who is afraid of nature and eats hearts to appease it) and the elementalist (a divine caster whose own spells cause such strain to the caster that they sometimes damage him). 4. Feats- From Always Ready to Whirlwind Defense, a large number of almost entirely homebrewed feats (though there are a few taken or adapted from ENWorld). 5. Equipment- the awl pike and a bunch of Cydran mounts and related gear (no horses in my campaign- or at least not enough that you'll ever find one for sale). 6. Prestige Classes- including new racial paragon options and one-level 'cultural paragon' classes. From the Accursed to the Weird Hunter. 7. Religion- lists of the gods by pantheon (including alignment, portfolio, divine rank and domain lists), as well as new domains ranging from Abundance to Traps. 8. Spells- a huge number of spells, some converted from previous editions, some made by players imc (some from previous editions), most completely homebrewed. From Absorb Strength to Zephyr of Restoration. Includes the lists of one-line desriptions at the beginning of the section. 9. Epic- all the new stuff and notes I've made for epic play, including a list of epic npcs in my campaign world, epic cannabix and elementalist progressions, epic progressions for a formidable number of Cydran prestige classes, a new epic prc (the Chronomancer), notes on a new descriptor for spells (Time), new epic feats from Additional Attack to Water Lord, epic spells from Arion's Forcefiends to Yolanda's Greater Ascendance (still very much in progress!) :) Hope this helps you out- like I said, feel free to dl the various files from my Yahoo site, and if you're interested in anything or have any questions feel free to post here, on the site or wherever and I'll happily try to answer.
