I've completely flipped, I tried over at the WotC boards, I've tried retracing my steps, I've tried the old Ouija board and to no avail. I had been working on some NPC baddies that were the players behind the armies and stuff my PCs have been facing at their low level and wanted to start putting stats, feats, and such as they may actually come across one of these power players in the not-so-distant future.
My problem is this, while looking through about 12 or so Dragon and Dungeon Mags, reading stuff online, and about 7 or so sourcebooks for D&D (a mix of 3.0 and 3.5), I came across some interesting tidbit about some idols that would "absorb" damage that their creator had taken and they came in 25, 50, and 100 hp flavors. I thought I had read it in OA but cannot find it anymore. If someone could point me to either a dragon (or dungeon) mag, sourcebook, or website where I might've seen this, I'd be *VERY* appreciative as this has been haunting me for about 2 weeks.
