[Inner Circle] Holiday Sale and 4e Update

I'm going to be lazy today and just copy most of this from our blog.

For starters, we are having a 50% off sale on all of our PDFs over at RPGNow which will run until January 1st. After this sale, we are going to remove the entire Digital Denizens line as we haven’t sold one of those in months and The Complete Book of Denizens has everything you would need anyway. If you didn’t get The Complete Book of Denizens yet, now would be a good time as 277 pages of full color monster goodness is a steal at $7.50 if you ask me.

Our 4th Edition plans have changed a bit. We recently hired Phillip Larwood and we are working with him on creating an introduction module that will lead into our series of adventures. The introductory module (which is as of now untitled) will be ready early next year as a free download with the Violet Dawn Player’s Guide to follow shortly thereafter. We had initially planned on doing an entire Adventure Path and that is still what we would like to do, but that all depends on how well it’s received. Right now we are only going to commit to a trilogy. If it sells well, we’ll expand it into a full Adventure Path with one trilogy of modules for each tier as we originally intended.

Looking Forward to the free mod and Violet Dawn in 4E. Good work by a bunch of coal crackers. I was born in Pottsville and now live in Pottstown PA. Is there a chance I can run up there to Hazleton and pick up and autographed copy?

No way. That's awesome! My sister-in-law's boyfriend is from Pottsville. When the books come out, drop me a line. We'd definitely autograph them for you.

I tried to make changes. Every time I do, it just logs me out. This is all that you would need to know:

The first adventure is a freebie and is really short (like half a dozen encounters). It will come with pre-generated characters. After that, it can lead into the trilogy or stand on its own. The first module in the trilogy is called The Dreaming Isle and the second is called The Forgotten City. Third module has no title yet.

I'll definitely be buying Complete Book of Denizens once I get paid (all gaming purchases are on hold until then, unfortunately ).

I'd love to get the Violet Dawn Players Guide. However, I'm still playing 3.5 (no plans to switch to 4th edition) and I have pretty much all your 3rd edition stuff in one format or another.

Roughly what sort of "new fluff" to "old fluff (I already have)" to "(useless to me) crunch" ratio is it going to be?

Still working on it, so I'm not 100% confident in this answer, but I think the book will have a lot more crunch than fluff. Think the new Forgotten Realms Player's Guide. I could be wrong though, we'll see how it pans out. And if you just want fluff, we'll have a few products for you too. Don't worry.
